Carmen Rosado is the Bilingual Administrator for Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She studied at Bryant & Stratton College where she received her Associates in Applied Science in Criminal Justice before joining Brown Immigration Law in May 2016. Carmen speaks fluent Spanish.
Emeline Armitage is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio Office. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in 2018 with her Bachelor’s in Spanish Language, International Studies, and Latin American Studies. Prior to joining Brown Immigration in 2020, Emeline interned at the International Office at University Hospitals in Cleveland and worked on local eco-friendly landscaping and gardening projects. Emeline speaks Spanish and would love to learn Portuguese in the future.
Joanie Kaplan is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio office. She is graduate of the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a B.S. in Education. For over 20 years, Joanie has worked in the area of immigration law and is highly experienced in the area of employment-based immigration.
Julia Martynowski is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Cleveland State University in 2017. Julia was recognized with an award for Excellence in Spanish by the Department of World Languages at CSU. She gained an interest in immigration law while working at The University of Akron School of Law, where she served as an interpreter and translator for the Immigration & Human Rights Clinic. Julia translated asylum declaration statements and interpreted interviews with native Spanish speaking clients from all over Latin America who were seeking asylum. She is passionate about using her Spanish language skills to help others.
Karina Navarro is a trilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law working in the North Carolina office. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Karina graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Psychology and Political Science. Prior to working at Brown Immigration Law, Karina was working as a Research Assistant and volunteered as a teacher assistant for ESL coursework and other various assistance to students of different ages and educational needs.
Kayla is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law working in our Cleveland office. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University, where she majored in International Relations and Political Science, with a concentration in Latin American Studies. During her time at Cleveland State, Kayla worked with the Gordon Square Arts Community and volunteered with The Refugee Response. Kayla is fluent in English and Spanish.
Lindsey Kinderdine is a Case Manager working in our Cleveland office, and she is fluent in Spanish and English. She grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in International Relations and Spanish. During her studies, Lindsey worked in the linguistics lab and completed an international research project on the sociopolitical discourse in Chilean media. Prior to joining Brown Immigration Law, Lindsey lived, studied, and worked in Valparaíso, Chile as an ESL teacher for students aged 8-80.
Maritza Zuñiga is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law with our North Carolina office. Maritza joined the firm in March 2018. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Maritza also graduated from the UNC Paralegal Certificate program. She has worked as an immigration paralegal (primarily family-based immigration) for ten years. Maritza is fluent in Spanish and English and has studied French, Italian, and Portuguese.
Marta is a North Carolina certified Paralegal who joined Brown Immigration Law in 2017 after a year of working as a paralegal in criminal law. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Education, she spent five years teaching in Budapest, Hungary. Marta graduated from the UNC Paralegal Certificate program in 2017, where she is now an instructor.
Meghan is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. A Northeast Ohio native, she recently graduated from The Ohio State University where she studied Political Science, Arabic, and Nonprofit Management. Meghan is a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations and was actively involved with nonprofits in Columbus, Ohio and specifically those providing services for refugees and victims of human trafficking. Meghan is passionate about using her diverse background to serve our clients.
Nabelh Manaa is a Case Manager and notary public at Brown Immigration Law in Cleveland, OH. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in the Arabic Language. During her time at Cleveland State, Nabelh tutored students from varying backgrounds in Arabic and Sociology courses. Nabelh is a member of the highest international foreign language society, Phi Sigma Iota. Nabelh is fluent in English and Arabic and has studied German and French.
Nora Cuthbertson is Brown Immigration Law’s Billing Administrator and works in the Cleveland, Ohio office. Nora graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights, OH with a major in Finance and a minor in Theology and Religious Studies. Before joining Brown Immigration Law in April 2018, Nora was a full-time volunteer at Catholic Charities of Louisville in Louisville, KY where she taught ESL classes with refugees and immigrants.
Olivia is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She received her Bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, where she studied Political Science; Spanish and Hispanic Studies; and Italian Studies. Prior to becoming a Case Manager, Olivia worked as a part-time intern at our Cleveland office while finishing up her degree at JCU and is now a full-time Case Manager and is passionate about serving our clients.
Roxana Ortiz is an Administrative Assistant for Brown Immigration Law working in our North Carolina Office. She grew up in Durham, North Carolina and is pursuing her paralegal certificate at Durham Tech Collage. Roxana is fluent in English and Spanish and had acquired more than three years of administrative experience before joining Brown Immigration Law in September 2018.
Sasha is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University, where he double majored in Psychology and Health Science. During his time at Cleveland State University, he was a member of the National Honor Society in Psychology and the Graduate Association for School Psychology. Sasha is fluent in Serbian, Croatian and English.
Sofia Dulcich is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law’s office in Raleigh, NC. She is from Argentina and is fluent in Spanish and English. Sofia completed her Associates degree in Sustainable Fashion Design in her home country and made a career change when she moved to the United States in 2015. She has over 3 years of customer care and administrative experience and joined Brown Immigration Law in October 2019. As an immigrant herself, Sofia is eager to assist our clients in their immigration paths.
Sophia Cromwell is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She received her bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, where she double majored in Political Science and Spanish and Hispanic Studies and was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish National Honor Society. Sophia also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for a semester where she took International Relations courses at Comillas Pontifical University.
